The Automatic Compression Testing Machine has all features of Micro Controller based Compression Testing Machine. In addition, it has:
An automatic load release facility.
A facility for transmission of data to the serial port of a computer placed with in 200 meters of the loading unit.
Support for data transmission over distances upto several kilometers. This is useful for testing in the field. (Optional feature)

The Unit Comprises of:

The loading unit is of fully welded construction having a cross head, base and solid side plates. The hydraulic jack is fixed to the base. The platens of the machine are hardened, ground and polished. The upper platen is provided with self-aligning action. To facilitate testing of various size specimens, suitable size spacers are provided.

This has a two-speed hydraulic motor driven pump and a bonded strain gauge based pressure transducer.

This convert data transmitted by the digital head to a form recognized by the computer.

In addition to measuring the stress on the cement specimen, a version of the machine is also available with the option of measuring the strain on the sample. This is achieved by installing an LVDT to measure the compression of the sample form which the strain can be calculated. In addition to compression strength an attachment for flexural strength beam can also be supplied at extra cost. This is accomplished by providing a frame for testing flexural strength alognwith the dedicated software which can be used as an attachment to the existing system.
